A highlight of Anguilla's Carnival 2006, was the Miss Anguilla Pageant held at the Landsome Bowl Cultural Center on August 10^th 2006.  Four beautiful young ladies vyed for the coveted title. They were, Contestant #1 Miss Joanne Phillips,  #2 Miss Monique Reid-Marlin, #3 Miss Latoya Hughes and #4 Miss Amber Woodley. In front of a capacity crowd, the well poised contestant #4 Miss Amber Woodley was crowned Miss Anguilla 2006 and Miss Latoya Hughes was adjudged 1^st runner up. Both young ladies  also equally shared all other awards disseminated on the evening.

Latoya Hughes: 1st Runner Up; Best Evening Wear; Miss Congeniality; Best Costume; Best Talent.
